Call for virtual presentations and workshops

The call for presentations and workshop ideas is open again!

The virtual GeoNode Summit 2020 will be held from December 07 to 09 as web conference. If you want to be part of this great event as a speaker or want to lead a workshop you can find all the information below:

Presenters – who should speak at the GeoNode Summit?

  • developers
  • companies developing software (apps, tools, frameworks etc.)
  • research institutions with GeoNode relevant activities
  • companies, organisations and individuals using GeoNode technologies (Django, GeoServer, PostGIS, AngularJS, React, etc.)

If you belong to one of those groups you are cordially invited to submit a talk proposal (or a number of proposals). To do so please provide the following information inside a pdf file:

  • presentation title,
  • a short abstract,
  • estimated presentation time (5 - 30 minutes),
  • your name,
  • the organization you work for,
  • your short bio
  • and an email for contacting you.

Please note: There is no guarantee that a submission will be put onto the conference agenda.

You should upload the pdf file here. You must authenticate with the following password: Summit-2020

The call for presentations will be open until 29-11-2020. The program committee picks the most interesting talk proposals and informs the selected submitters until December 1, 2020. After we see the topics and abstracts for the presentations we will get in contact with you to answer any open questions.

Workshop Leaders – who should lead a workshop at the GeoNode Summit?

  • developers,
  • administrators,
  • users

If you belong to one of those groups you are cordially invited to submit a workshop proposal. The workshop shall provide a hands on experience in your domain of experience. If you would like to host a workshop please provide a short description as pdf file:

  • presentation title,
  • a short abstract,
  • estimated workshop time (30 - 90 minutes),
  • your name,
  • the organization you work for,
  • your short bio
  • and an email for contacting you.

Please note: We will not cover expenses or provide money for workshop leaders. There is no guarantee that a submission will be put onto the conference agenda.
